Air fryers have become an almost essential kitchen appliance since the release of the first Philips Air fryer in 2010. They are now cheaper and available in a wide range of shapes and sizes to cater for large and small families. You can use them for everything from roasts, to snacks and baked goods and everything between. Some absolute MUST-TRY recipes are my Lemon Pepper Wings, Keto Pasta Recipe, or Air Fryer Green Beans. It’s hard to believe they have been around for so long, but they are definitely well embedded in the way people cook! For some people, they are a smaller and more efficient version of their main oven. For others, it’s now the only way they “bake” and the main way they cook too. Keto fried recipes are one way to make the low carb foods you prepare even healthier. You can get a crunchy texture without the need to add extra fat or grease. The healthy fats in low carb air fryer recipes are all you need for the flavour!
Making air fryer recipes keto compliant means you get the best of two worlds. You keep the low carb element, and get better texture in the protein element, without extra grease! Read More
I always make my recipes as simple as possible, so you have come to the right place for air fryer keto recipes! I love being able to enjoy delicious snacks that I know are suitable for my keto diet. If some of my favourites are even healthier when air fried, that’s a win win! As I mentioned earlier, lots of people use their air fryers instead of their ovens to bake in. You can use your air fryer like a smaller oven, at the same temperature but less time! As with ovens, air fryers do vary with how they cook, so keep checking during the cooking time. After a while, you will get to know how long things take and you’ll be able to walk away while it cooks. Keto Cheese and Bacon Scrolls are quick to bake in a regular oven and even quicker in an air fryer. They make a great snack or accompaniment to soups. My Keto Chiko Roll recipe is my version of the crispy, delicious and iconic snack that is perfect for the air fryer. There are lots of other keto snacks you can cook in the air fryer, so you’ll need to get one that can fit lots in! When it comes to cooking lunch or dinner, there are also so many recipes that are better cooked in an air fryer. Keto Chicken Kiev Bites are a tasty and versatile addition to a salad or by themselves for a light meal. My Chicken Pepper Fry is full of flavour and there are a few ways to serve it for the main meal. Keto Pizzas are a filling and tasty meal that you can bake in an air fryer if you make them the right size to fit! They take no time at all to cook, and as they’re so quick, everyone can have their own choice of toppings. Keto Chicken Alfredo and Pepperoni Pizzas are both regulars on our meal plan. In winter, comfort food recipes like Cauliflower Mac and Cheese are also easy to make and delicious! You are only limited by the size of desserts and sweet treats that can fit in your air fryer. Air fried desserts and sweet snacks are healthier while still being lovely and crisp. If your pie tin is too large, try individual-sized Keto Custard Tarts instead. Smaller batches of biscuits and cookies are also perfect to make. My recipes use almond flour or meal to make keto cookies that you will love! Almond Flour Cookies use only three ingredients and are low in net carbs so you can enjoy them guilt-free. Keto Choc Chip Cookies and Keto Anzac Biscuits are two of my favourites that are well-loved recipes on my site! I am sure you will find lots of inspiration for healthy air fryer recipes here.
