Everyone loves a Bacon Ranch Cheese Ball. Well just about everyone 😂
I made a version of this for my old website and it somehow got lost along the way. But I promise you I think this version in better.
I use my usual recipe for a bacon cheese ball and added my very delicious Keto Ranch Dressing. It is pretty delicious if I do say so myself.
So what do you need to make the perfect keto friendly bacon ranch cheese ball? Read on for a quick how to make, and some tasty “extras” to add in and customise your cream cheese ball recipe.

BACON RANCH CHEESE BALL INGREDIENTS
It is so easy to make a bacon ranch cheese ball. The ingredients are pretty “loose” in my opinion but for macros and net carbs sake I have given you some very easy measures to go by.
So here is what I have used in my cheese ball recipe
4 streaky bacon rashers
Shredded Mexican cheese – this gives a great look to the cheese ball due to both white and yellow cheddar cheeses. For Aussies I used Woolworths brand that already comes shredded and chop it a little finer.
Cream Cheese
Green Onions
Seasonings – Season well with salt and pepper and add any extras you like. I love chilli flakes or jalapeños.
Pecans or walnuts

HOW TO MAKE A BACON RANCH CHEESE BALL
A cheese ball is super simple to make. Here is my quick guide to making the best bacon cheddar ranch cheese ball ever! 😂
CONVENTIONAL METHOD
- Finely chop bacon and fry until crispy. Drain on paper towel and cool.
- Into one bowl place half the cooled bacon, cream cheese, Ranch Dressing, three quarters of the shredded cheese, 1 tbsp of green onion, 1 tbsp pecans, 1 teaspoon of poppyseeds and season to taste.

- To mix together I just glove up and combine with my hands and shape into a large ball

- Place remaining ingredients into a separate bowl. Roll cheese ball to evenly coat with crumb.

- Refrigerate and serve with crackers or antipasto platter and crackers.
THERMOMIX® METHOD
I have also included very simple instructions for making a bacon cheese ball using a Thermomix.
- Finely chop bacon and fry until crispy. Drain on paper towel and cool.

Holy crap on a cracker! (… in the very best way!!) Sensational, tasty, and so, so easy! I added 2 tsp of pickled jalapenos to give it a nice warming hum without excluding the non-chilli eaters. Served up with Seasoned Keto Crackers, it was THE hit of the BBQ. Another fantastic recipe Megan, thank you x-
Yay! That is so awesome Kym. I would love it with jalapeños too (always a fave in my book). If you like the Seasoned Keto Crackers try the new Keto Cheese Crackers (you will thank me later). Thanks for leaving such a great review. I am so happy you and your friends enjoyed the food.

Another fantastic recipe to show that Keto is doable, even when entertaining!
I made mine into a log shape, and it was such a hit everyone wanted the deets! I didn’t put the chili flakes, instead used nigella seeds (which I love, and was quite a conversation starter).
This recipe will be on high rotation with the crackers…perfect combo!-
Yay! I love when it is a winner with the guests as well. Thanks for giving it a whirl Lynn!
