The Ingredients

Keto Ranch Dressing Ingredients on a plate.

Keto Ranch Dressing is so easy to make. The beauty is that you most likely have all these ingredients in your pantry and fridge right now.

First, we make the Ranch Seasoning (Ranch Spice Mix). I make this in a batch and keep it in the pantry to use in baking as well. It is so easy to make.

Homemade Ranch Seasoning Ingredients

Here is all you need to make a quick and simple (and low carb) ranch seasoning at home.

  • Dried dill
  • Dried parsley
  • Dried chives
  • Onion powder
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper

To make the ranch dressing you just need to add one tablespoon of the herbs and spices above to

  • Sour cream
  • Mayonnaise – use the link to make your own mayonnaise without all the nasties.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1. Prepare the Homemade Ranch Seasoning. Only 1 tablespoon of the mixture is used in this recipe.

Step 2. Simply mix all the salad dressing ingredients together in a large bowl. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

To make the keto ranch dressing in a thermal cooker just place all the ingredients into the mixer and mix 30 sec/speed 4.

Ways to Use Homemade Ranch Dressing

Aside from using keto ranch dressing as a simple salad dressing, it can be used in baking, casseroles, and sauces. Personally, I tend to make up a double batch of dressing and use it in my cooking throughout the week.

In The Healthy Family Keto Cookbook, I used it as part of the creamy sauce in the Chicken Ranch Casserole. In place of an egg wash in the Garlic Parmesan Tenders. A sauce in Swiss Chicken and just a straight up dressing in salads.

Think of this homemade ranch dressing as a dressing and a tangy creamy sauce. Mix it in with mashed cauliflower or any meal that goes well with a bit of creaminess, acid and spices.

Excellent dressing…but I must be blind…what is the actual serving size? I see the recipe makes 15 servings, but don’t see the serving size? Thanks!

    • Megan Mad Creations Hub says:

Hi Cathy, I am so glad you enjoyed the recipe. The serving size is approx 2 tbsp at 40g per serve. There is limitations to the amount of detail I can add in the nutritional panel but is 565g / 15 so roughly around 38g per serve.
