Easy Hemp Wraps

These easy hemp wraps are ready in minutes. Using only 4 ingredients the batter is quick to make and pan fried until lightly golden. Use the wraps for lunches, an easy pizza base, or to mop the sauce of your favourite casserole or curry.

Ingredients

  • 40 g shredded mozzarella or haloumi/paneer
  • 40 g parmesan grated
  • 3 eggs lightly whisked
  • 2 tablespoons hemp seeds (20g)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Spray oil for pan frying

Instructions

CONVENTIONAL METHOD

  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Spoon a quarter of the mixture into a large non-stick frying pan (or use spray oil) over moderate heat. Swirl to spread mixture into a large thin crepe. Cook until lightly golden on one side then flip and cook the other side until cooked through.

THERMAL METHOD

  • Mix ingredients 20 sec/speed 4.
  • Spoon a quarter of the mixture into a large non-stick frying pan (or use spray oil) over moderate heat. Swirl to spread mixture into a large thin crepe. Cook until lightly golden on one side then flip and cook the other side until cooked through.

Notes

This mixture can be made into bigger or smaller rounds to preference.
For a dairy-free wrap swap both cheeses out for 1 tablespoon of yeast flakes and 2 extra tablespoons of hemp seeds.
Wraps can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days. They are suitable for freezing in a ziplock bag.
