Super Easy Keto Lahmacun

Ingredients

TOPPING

  • 400 g lamb mince you can use beef or chicken
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 40 g tomato paste
  • 1/2 red capsicum diced
  • 1/2 bunch parsley roughly chopped
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp paprika smoked or sweet
  • salt flakes and black pepper
  • 1 small tomato
  • 20 g olive oil

TO SERVE

  • 1 fresh lemon quartered
  • 4 tbsp sour cream or greek yoghurt
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • leafy greens, crumbled feta or chevre

Instructions

CONVENTIONAL METHOD

  • Preheat oven to 200℃ fan/220°C static. Prepare 2 large baking trays with baking paper or use a pizza stone and cook individually.  
  • Divide fathead dough into 6 portions. Roll into 6 rounds.
  • Pre-bake until fathead starts to lightly brown OR fry fathead portions on a very hot griddle or cast iron pan until lightly golden
  • Add topping ingredients to a food processor and mix until evenly combined.
  • Spread a small handful of mixture onto each round, patting down flat and spreading almost to the very edge. Bake 10 minutes or until meat is golden brown. Serve with toppings "pizza style" or add toppings and roll into a wrap.

THERMAL METHOD

  • Follow steps 1-3 above. Add topping ingredients to mixer; mix 15 sec/speed 6. Repeat if needed.
  • Spread a small handful of mixture onto each round, patting down flat and spreading almost to the very edge. Bake 10 minutes or until meat is golden brown. Serve with toppings "pizza style" or add toppings and roll into a wrap.
