Sauce

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 5 cm ginger peeled and chopped

  • 1 cup brown sweetener or any sweetener of choice
  • 1 cup white vinegar

  • Cook 20 min/90℃/speed 1. Increase cooking time if needed. Pour into sterile jar, seal and cool. Store in fridge for up to 1 month.

Notes

Optional Variations
  • Add a pinch of smoked paprika for a smoky flavor.
  • Include a splash of soy sauce or coconut aminos for depth.
  • Experiment with different types of chillies for varying heat levels.
Sweetener Options
  • Allulose: Provides a brown sugar-like sweetness without impacting blood sugar.
  • Erythritol: A sugar alcohol that works well, but may crystallize when cooled.
  • Stevia: Use a liquid form to avoid an aftertaste.
  • Monk Fruit: Adds sweetness without affecting blood sugar.
Serving
Drizzle over grilled chicken, shrimp, or use as a dipping sauce for keto-friendly appetizers.
Storage
Store in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 weeks. The flavors tend to develop and intensify over time.
Chillies:
For a milder sauce, remove seeds and membranes from the chillies. Experiment with different types like jalapeños for varying levels of heat.
Variations:
Add a tablespoon of tomato paste for a hint of richness.
Incorporate a teaspoon of fish sauce for umami depth.
Enjoy this keto sweet chili sauce as a flavorful addition to your low-carb meals! Adjust the ingredients to suit your taste preferences and explore different variations for a unique twist.
