OKONOMI SAUCE INGREDIENTS

The keto okonomi sauce recipe is so simple, and all the ingredients are easily found in the local supermarket. Most of these ingredients are regular keto pantry essential ingredients that you will already have at home.

  • 60 g raspberries fresh or frozen
  • 4 tbsp dry sherry
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 6 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp tamari sauce gluten free
  • 3 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional for extra spice use 1 tbsp of Chilli oi

HOW TO MAKE OKONOMI SAUCE

This truly is a very simple recipe. In the method I have done both a Thermomix keto okonomi sauce and one stovetop method.

With the stovetop okonomi sauce you can choose to use a blender to blend and make the sauce smooth before cooking. Alternatively, you can cook and reduce the sauce and then use a stick blender to form a smooth sauce consistency.

REAL FOOD REAL FAST

This low carb okonomiyaki sauce recipe was created when I very first started keto in early 2017.

It was originally featured in my first cookbook Real Food Real Fast along with a keto okonomiyaki recipe with bacon lardons.

It was a recipe I really found resonated with a lot of keto followers.

I think it is just that it is simple fair that has great flavour.
