It’s one of those dips you can whip up quickly with ingredients you probably already have in your fridge. The Ingredients

Bacon: Crispy bacon adds the perfect crunch, but feel free to use turkey bacon or even crumbled sausage for a leaner option. Just make sure the meat is fully cooked and crispy before mixing it in.

Cheese: Cheddar is the standard choice, but any melty cheese like mozzarella, Monterey Jack, or Colby Jack works well.

Cream Cheese: Be sure to soften the cream cheese to make mixing easier. You can substitute with Greek yogurt or cottage cheese if you’re looking for a lighter version, but keep in mind the dip might be less creamy.

Ranch Seasoning: Homemade Ranch Seasoning is easy to make, but you can also use store-bought ranch seasoning if you’re short on time.

How To Make Bacon Ranch Dip

Step 1. Preheat oven to 180℃ fan/200°C static/400°F.

Step 2. Combine ranch seasoning, cream cheese, sour cream, and half of the bacon, chives and cheese in a large bowl until well combined. Transfer to a small baking dish.

Step 3. Sprinkle over the remaining bacon and cheese. Bake 8-10 minutes. Sprinkle over chives and serve with keto crackers.

Variations of Bacon Ranch Dip

You can make endless variations of this dip by switching up the ingredients. Try adding:

  • Spicy kick: Add diced jalapeños or a pinch of cayenne pepper for some heat.
  • Extra veggies: Stir in chopped spinach, bell peppers, or caramelized onions for added texture and flavour.
  • Protein boost: Toss in some shredded chicken or crumbled sausage for a heartier dip that can double as a main dish appetizer.

Ways to Cook Bacon Ranch Dip

While this recipe calls for baking to melt the cheese and crisp the bacon, you can also serve it cold by skipping the oven step. Simply mix all the ingredients together, refrigerate for an hour and serve. If you prefer it warm, you can also use a slow cooker on low for a couple of hours or pop it in the microwave for a quick heat-up.
