Sous vide is particularly good for cooking various proteins. This is perfect for anyone following a ketogenic diet! You don’t need any fancy equipment, as you can sous vide quite well in a good quality zip lock bag. Vacuum sealers are quite inexpensive, and useful for preserving food. With more than one use for it, it would be a good investment for your kitchen. If you own a Thermomix TM6 or Magimix, you can sous vide in either of them too. Incorporating sous vide cooking into your keto meal plan is simple. Sous vide the chicken breast, with a drop of liquid smoke, for the Smoky Ranch Chicken Salad. The flavour and texture will make this salad even better than it already is! Other recipes that cook the chicken in an oven would also be excellent choices to sous vide. The seasoned chicken in my Chicken Avocado Almond Salad is a great example. It would be moist and tender, and the flavours would infuse into the meat so much more.
